I thought that Chapter 6 was pretty boring. I remember, specifically in high school and now in college, teachers using the internet for the classroom. Blackboard is a perfect example. I also thought the section on using computer labs was pointless because everyone that has been to school has been in a computer lab.

New skills I have aquired...
Learning about the powerpoint quiz deal was pretty cool, I had never seen that before. I think that will be a great tool to use in the classroom... I still need to do my powerpoint though so we will see how that turns out!

Today I'm babysitting two little boys (i babysit them twice a week) Jack is 4 and a half and Wyatt is 2. They are a handful. Jack's last swim lesson is today so I get to go watch him, he is very excited. My life is pretty much school, babysitting, and my puppy right now--- I cannot wait for fall!! I like LONG semesters so I don't have a test every week!

I learned new tools in PP as well. Unfortunately, having a test every week is what most of my teachers at FSU do. You're lucky that you do not experience this in the long semesters. Have fun babysitting.

I have aways wanted a puppy. My mom, knowing she would be the one to take care of it, brought home cats instead.

Yeah, summer semester has been killing me with the tests, too. I'd avoid taking classes next summer, but it's required in my grad program :(.

I hate how many tests we have over the summer too! It's almost over though, hang in there!
