Chapter 5 made me realize how much technology is used in the education system and that by being aware of different things to do with technology one can make the classroom interesting and fun. A teacher can use audio, video, animation and more for a presentation instead of just standing in front of the students and lecturing. I think distance learning is a great idea and I plan to use it to obtain my masters. Educational computer games are also a great way for young kids to learn new things.
I really liked the blackboard chat- I did not know we could do that. I think that is a great alternative for classes, especially computer ones. It saves time but is just as efficient.
I got back from Orlando again this weekend. It's such a long drive! I can't believe we are already halfway through with the semester, I am so ready for fall. I LOVE football season, hopefully we can win some this season.

This part blew my mind, too. I enjoy learning new technology and software for educational purposes.
Aww I missed the chat room!!!! That sucks
We don't have to wait that long til football season!
Haha I'm with you on the part about us winning some this season. I'm sure we'll win "some," but I'd rather have it be a few more than that. Hopefully I-4 hasn't been bugging you too much, assuming you take that way. I'm from the Tampa area, so I get to avoid that one, but the rest of the trip is mostly the same.
A winning season would be nice for a change. I won't be at FSU in the fall so will miss out on the free tix. Doh
Yay football season! I hate sports in general, but football season is the greatest thing ever....I love it. I'm excited, too. This years Florida vs. Florida State game should be interesting...
I love football season too and i'm also in a sorority so you know those football blocks are fun!!
I'm ready for the fall as well. I love football season.
I lived in Orlando for a couple of years. i didn' tlike it very much but then again i didn't know any one. Football season is going to be great even if we lose.
